Terms
2026-10-10
The agreement between you and TaleSprouts. Plain words, and they mean what they say.
Who we are
TaleSprouts (talesprouts.steinberg-tech.com) is operated by Stanislav Steinberg. "We" and "us" below mean that operator; "you" means the adult using the app.
Using TaleSprouts means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.
TaleSprouts is in beta
Access is by invitation while we read with a few families first. We can invite and un-invite as we go.
Things will change, break and occasionally disappear. We make no promise about availability, and we may add, alter or withdraw features - including stories - without notice.
Your account
You must be an adult where you live to hold an account. One account is meant for one household.
Keep your sign-in safe. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
Give us an email address that reaches you: it is how we would tell you about your account.
Children
TaleSprouts is used by grown-ups, who read or play stories to children in their care. There are no child profiles, and the app asks for nothing about a child.
Children do not have accounts and cannot sign in, buy anything or contact anyone through the app.
What you may do
Read the stories with your family, as many times as you like, on your own devices. That is what the app is for.
What you may not do
Copy, download, record, republish or share the stories, the narration or the artwork outside your household.
Scrape or bulk-download the catalogue, or use it as training data for a model.
Resell or give away access, or work around the limits and gates in the app.
Who owns what
The stories, the narration, the artwork and the app itself are ours or are licensed to us. Reading them gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them at home, and nothing more.
What you write - the label of a favorite, a note at the end of a story - stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it back to you, which is all we do with it.
Membership and payment
Paid membership is not available during the beta. Everything below applies from the day it opens.
Prices are shown including tax where the law requires it, and you will see the total before you pay.
Checkout and subscriptions are handled by our payment provider as merchant of record. They are the seller for the transaction and they issue your receipt.
A free trial becomes a paid term unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the term you have paid for. We do not refund part of a term unless the law says otherwise.
Renewals are at the price in force at the time. If a price changes, we will tell you before it applies to you.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK
You normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content.
When you start reading during that period you are asking us to begin immediately, and you acknowledge that once the service has been fully supplied the right to withdraw is lost. Your statutory rights are otherwise unaffected, and nothing here takes them away.
Ending it
You can delete your account from the account page at any time, and everything goes with it.
We can suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop running the service. If we end it while you have paid for time you have not used, we refund that part.
What we do not promise
TaleSprouts is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in your country.
The stories are bedtime stories. They are not education, therapy, or advice of any kind.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything we could not reasonably have foreseen.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stand whatever this section says.
Changes to these terms
We will post changes here and, when they matter, say so in the app. Continuing to use TaleSprouts after that means accepting them. If you would rather not, delete your account.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Israel, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
