TALE

Patch and One Last Thing

Every night the things in the living room ask Patch for one last small thing before they can sleep, and every night he does it. Tonight, when everything else is settled, he asks for one too.

There was once a house on a quiet street. In the house there was a room. In the room there was a sofa. And under the sofa there was a hare. It was night. The people in the house had gone up to bed. The hare was still awake. His name was Patch, and he was a knitted hare.
