Pip and the Lost Lullaby
Every evening, little Pip sings the garden to sleep. Tonight her song has gone missing, and her garden friends help her find it.
Every evening, when the sky turned the colour of plums, little Pip the wren sang the garden to sleep. Tonight she hopped onto her favourite branch, fluffed her feathers, and opened her beak. Nothing came out. Not one note! Her lullaby had gone missing. Below her, Cricket was tuning his legs, chirp by chirp. Above her, the wind was humming in the reeds. A song has to start somewhere. Pip hopped down through the leaves to ask Cricket for help.
